Pool Rule Reminders -Proper Pool Etiquette

Posted By on June 6, 2023

With the return of sunny days, we are thrilled to see everyone enjoying the pool. We want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the pool rules and proper pool etiquette. Let’s ensure the pool area remains a safe and enjoyable space for all.

  • Residents & Guests: The pool is reserved for Association residents and their guests. Each resident can bring up to four (4) guests per unit. However, please note that the pool area cannot be reserved for a single owner, and your guest many not exceed 20 people, including your household. If you wish to entertain more guests, please submit a written request to management at least three (3) weeks in advance by emailing echarlot@actionlife.com.
  • Accompanied Guest: To ensure safety, all guests must always be accompanied by the homeowner. Please ensure that your guests are also aware of the pool rules.
  • Age Restrictions: For safety purposes, children under fourteen (14) years are not permitted in the pool area unless supervised by a responsible adult resident eighteen (18) years or older.
  • Food & Beverages: Feel free to enjoy food in the pool area, but remember that eating is prohibited inside the pool or spa. Also, please do not bring glassware, alcohol, or smoking materials into the pool area.
  • Cleanliness & Order: Each person is responsible for their trash. If you have guests, please bring your trash bags for your guest’s use, dispose of the trash properly and keep the pool area clean. Make sure to leave the pool furniture orderly for the next person to enjoy.
  • Capacity & Pool Closure: The pool area has a maximum capacity of 70 people. Misuse of this number could lead to the pool being closed by the pool health department. Any fines or pool closures will be the financial responsibility of the owner.
  • Safety First: No diving, horseplay, running, pushing, jumping, fighting, or engaging in other dangerous activities is permitted. Let’s keep the pool area safe for everyone’s enjoyment.
  • Considerate Noise Levels: Please be mindful of other residents and keep noise levels minimal. We want everyone to relax and enjoy their time at the pool.
  • Surveillance & Liability: For liability purposes, the pool area is under surveillance. However, please note that no pool monitor is present, and its use is at your own risk.
  • Proper Pool Etiquette: No grooming, such as cutting hair, shaving, spitting, or cutting nails, is allowed in the pool area.
  • PETS : Pets are not permitted in or around the pool and spa area at anytime. Pets should not be tethered to the fence, bushes or stakes in the pool area.
  • SPA : For safety purpose, please note that no person under the age of three (3) will be allowed in spa. Swim diapers, rubber pants or other watertight swimwear are not allowed in the Spa as they may not be resistant to the high temperature in the Spa.

We encourage all residents to work together to maintain a friendly and respectful environment. We also encourage all residents to speak up when they witness violations or incidents by emailing echarlot@actionlife.com. Remember, failure to comply with the pool rules may result in a hearing where the Board of Directors could assess fines of $300.
